By removing the walls enclosing the existing dan, natural daylight can flow into the kitchen area. This also allow for the placement of a crucial piece of furniture request by the owner (a baby grand piano).
Utilizing build-in cabinets and mirrors, an illusion of a more spacious environment was created. A granite fireplace and area rug was introduce in the living area to create a sense focus within the space.
Semicircular bulkhead with recessed down light fixtures and crystal pendent light fixture, highlight the piano lounge (previously dinning area).
Custom wood trims and panels are use to highlight the kitchen area. Modern classic furnishing are use to give the space a sense of timelessness.
